As great as Al has come on, does anybody know why Dalton plays anything more than Bentz-type minutes?
Because he is 6'8", can shoot, is a smart, player and takes care of the ball. Last night was his 6th NCAA game. He needs to add some bulk, but I don't have a problem with his game at all. He is the type of player DU would love to have in their program.
I didn't realize we were after 98 pounders who the powerhouse Pioneers would love to have in their program
Whatever. I can do a lot, but I can't fix stupid.

Amen, brother. Dalton is a kid that would have played for Majerus at Utah. I'll take smart, long players that can stroke it from outside any day. He can put on weight later.

I totally agree. Because when I see Dalton in that oversized jersey draping off of him like a middleschooler wearing a game-worn Shaq jersey, I think Andre Miller and Keith Van Horn.

Do you remember how skinny Van Horn was when he first got to Utah???

Sorry, not much of a difference there.

No he doesn't because he probably wasn't born when Van Horn was at Utah, but he's gonna act like a smart ass anyway.

I love how this "hell yeah Herndon" thread has digressed into a "not so sure about this Dalton guy" thread
If I recall right...wasn't Keith Van Horn dominate as a sophomore and pretty much had the Utes ranked every year? So yeah maybe he's a poor man's Van Horn....MAYBE. Let's not not knock Dalton too hard after all he was our first big to show up this year. Not world beating show up but actually get some rebounds show up. I like that he plays with some fire too even though he's undersized. Good news is both Herndon and Dalton are just sophomores too. Lets just get them both to the Cavalryman Steakhouse a lot in the offseason :P

I never compared his skill to the greatest player in Utah history. I said that Majerus would recruit long, smart, skinny, white kids that could knock down 3s. He was pretty goddamn successful with kids like that. Dalton's skill isn't that of a Keith Van Horn, but if you can't see the similarities in their physical attributes from the picture posted above, then you're either fucking blind or in denial.
