Just when he was darn near 100% for this season.
An "early" season return is being talked about now. Need him for BYU or at the least the Falcons.
Hope he has a successful surgery and can come back feeling great.

I hope it is just a minor tweak and he will be good to go before the season starts.

Disappointing news for sure.

However, we have more depth at RB this year than we did last year. DJ Jones is a very capable back up - there won’t be much of a drop off between him and Waylee. We also have several other options who can come in with fresh legs and give Jones a break when needed.

Glad to hear it wasn’t a season ending injury.

Huge bummer. So glad DJ Jones saw the opportunity at Wyoming so hopefully we will be ok until Waylee recovers.

Really happy that we picked up DJ. A knee scope shouldn't have Waylee out for too long, which is good, but we need a capable back for the opener and McNeeley is still being brought back up to speed.

We did ok in the opener last season without Waylee. Ferrell and Scott did an admirable job against Texas Tech.
