GTS - WYOMING vs. Eastern Michigan

Last weekend sucked, but it's time to move on. This week UW faces a team that lost its starting QB, but apparently can run the ball effectively. I don't want to entertain the thought of losing again, so I'm going to say last week was a fluke and Wyoming bounces back. Wyoming 31, Eastern Michigan 21

Wyoming will look much improved in the running game, but will still have some discipline issues. 7 penatlties for 80 yards. We will win the turnover battle 2-1. Defense will still be shaky and EM will have a few big plays.

Go Pokes....seriously this has been the most depressing week of all time after that performance last week. Please step it up this week and take care of business.

Attendance will be 19k.

I think EMU will hold a lead and we will wear them down in the 2nd half. This is how low my expectations have become. Attendance a little better than expect at 21.5K
 
Could be anyone's game as they head into the 4th quarter. That said, I believe Wyoming will be vastly improved from last week's game. Will they win? Maybe. If they don't however, don't expect me to be on this board Saturday night telling you we are a shipwreck with no hope.

I expect the opposite if we lose. I expect you to come in and tell us how we are moving towards our awesome goal of being MWC Champs and playing Cowboy Tough and a bunch of other crap that not even Bohl would believe.

Indeed, no matter the won-loss record this season it will not compel me to deviate from my original line of thought. That is, they are 'building' a program and this takes time. I'm less concerned with W's and L's right now than I will be in say, 2016-17-18. If you were in front of Bohl spouting your insanity driven and off the reservation rhetoric, he'd laugh in your face...and rightfully so.
 
Pokes get at least 13 but struggle to get 24.
EMU will easily get 21 but not more than 33.
That leaves a 3 point window for the Pokes to pull one out.

Note: What some people call pessimism is actually realism
 
Wyo. wins it 5-3. We block a punt through the end zone for the winning score. Both punters have to soak their legs in ice after the game.

Based on last weeks performance, I'd like to see what the Pokes can do to rebound. I picked them by 11, but nothing will surprise me at this point.

This made me literally laugh out loud. After seeing us lose to an FCS school, I can't pick us to win until it happens. EMU wins 31-28.

lol. Yeah, this one is pretty much a complete crap shoot. Honestly, nothing would surprise me in this game. We could get plastered again. We could run them off the high plains. It could be a nail biter. High scoring. Low scoring. No scoring and a tie. Literally, nothing would surprise me with this game which does make it intriguing.
