Good Core of Young Freshmen/Sophmores Forming?

When I look at the freshmen and sophomores, I see flashes of a pretty good core of players who could put this program in a good position as juniors and seniors. All these guys have at least 2 years after this one.

Josh Allen
Brian Hill
Joseph Parker
Ryan Cummings
Taylor Knestis
Kaden Jackson
Zach Wallace
Andrew Wingard
Carl Granderson

Haven't heard much about the young linebacker recruits though...

We're starting to see the makings of a good young team. We need to stay the course and not get too low on these boys. Good fight tonight.

No doubt, YP, I maintain the worm turns and we're consistent conference contenders starting with the 2018 season.

Our guys decided to play some football. I thought execution from the sideline to the offensive players was poor in the 3rd quarter (3 stupid penalties, stagnant play calling and missed assignments) altho wsu had something to do with that. A bad call on a penalty didn't help the defense any,

Playing hard thru out the game is a major first step.Maintaining focus and execution especially after some adversity can always be improved, and we need to do that. Resiliency is tough for youngsters. We had to leave shortly after the 4TH started - the wsu folks were too drunk to tell me much about it, so I can't comment on the end game. I was impressed with the halftime defensive adjustments.

Good health permitting, if we can maintain the trajectory, we could have us a pretty good team by the end of this season. Hope next week we get better.

Last night they looked like a YOUNG team putting things together. I was very impressed with the effort and results last night. Continue to improve and they'll win some games this season. I think we have a great chance to win next saturday! Loved finally seeing some improvement. That Bryan Hill is a monster and some the defenders are really coming along. Wingard is going to be a beast. Was very impressed with granderson as well!

This game definitely gave me cause for careful optimism. Even if WSU isn't exactly in the top tier of PAC-12, they're still PAC-12 and orders of magnitude more talented than the first couple of teams we played.

Maybe we'll actually be able to grab a W or three.

Disagree with 1) and agree with 2)
