George Kay passed away yesterday

He was 88.

He was a legend. I met him back in the mid-80s when I was attending Centennial Junior High in Casper.

He was a very classy guy.
 
Thats too bad, I remember some of the grainy football games we'd be lucky to watch on KUTV i think. Rest easy.

Grew up with him as well, Mr Kronschnabel(never knew he had a stage name). I didn't know any other sports broadcasters until i started watching Pro Sports later on....on occassions he would get excited and run outta air, was his only flaw...Grandpa George was always my fave and Casper sports hasn't been the same since. Thanks for the memories, RIP George!!
