Game Day Experience

Hello everyone!

I will be brining my family out for our first game at War Memorial Stadium as a surprise birthday present for my son on Nov 9th against Fresno State. He is gonna be so excited when he finds out! :D

I'm looking for ideas/suggestions of things to do before and/or after the game. Any certain things that we should take in and a good place to park or do a little tailgaiting. My kids are fairly young so nothing too rowdy  .
We will be rolling into town Fri late afternoon if there would be anything on Fri, too.

Thanks in advance!

Tailgate Park (if not moved indoors) is always family friendly. Also, the parking lot on the Eastern side of the stadium usually has a lot of tailgaters as well.

Things to do Friday night? Depends on what you're looking to do. There's always the movie theater, or if you're looking for a good bite to eat, there's quite a few good places to eat all over town, just depends on what you're in the mood for. Also, the Rec center (a block south of Grand, just past Wal-Mart) has a nice family swimming area indoors.
