OK, it looks like he is being put in because he can pass and the Pokes (the secondary) have trouble defending against the pass. Maybe, with his inexperience, he can be rattled with a good pass rush. That didn't work so much against CSU however. We will see, of course.

He's been awful since, BTW. Only Wyoming made him look good. He was shit vs. Nevada, who made BYU's backup QB look talented.
