Distractions are bad for football teams. And Wyoming is knee-deep in a big one that simply will not go away.

It’s been more than a week since UW football coach Dave Christensen launched a volley of curses toward Air Force coach Troy Calhoun on Military Appreciation Day. The tirade was embarrassing and unprofessional. It was also supposed to be over by now.

“Not today,” Burman said when asked if Christensen’s job was on the line. “He will be evaluated at the end of the year, just like every coach. But I can tell you that he’s going to be the head coach at Wyoming next year."

Burman isn't one to go back on his word. I expect CDC to return, but with an ultimatum in place. Get ur done or GTFO.

Depends who we hire. Do we go out and get a president who wants to promote athletics? I would assume those are rare from everything I know about university presidents :lol: But I do believe in this day and age College athletics plays such a big role for universities it would be a real advantage to have a president who recognizes that.
