For those of you that want to see Bohl in Brown and Gold...

You better root for Nebraska this weekend. They got the OT win against Penn State, and a win against Iowa this week MIGHT save Pelini's job for another year. But if Bo is gone, a lot of talk that Bohl will be one of the favorites to take over in Lincoln. Bohl is certainly a Husker, he was born in Lincoln, played for UNL and was a LB coach (1995-2000) and DC (2000-2002) before heading to North Dakota. Not to mention that his family still resides in Lincoln where his daughters went to UNL and his son is in high school.

If Wyoming were to land Coach Bohl and then Nebraska came calling, it wouldn't be the first time we lost a coach to the Huskers.

I think for that very reason, Bohl will be down the list toward the bottom. I don't want to change coaches this year and then have another coaching change at the end of next year.

Bohl was ran out of Lincoln when he was the DC on Solich's staff. I don't know if he would even want to go back to Lincoln or if people in Lincoln would want him back.

I would tend to agree, but I know there's a lot of people on the Husker board lobbying for him (a small percentage of fans I know, but probably somewhat representative of the full fan base). Also, the fact that he has been in Fargo for 10 years and yet his kids still went to high school and college in Lincoln (450+ miles away) sounds to me like he still has strong ties there. All mostly speculative, but if both UW and UNL came calling, he's wearing red, not gold IMO.
