Football Schedule out

Would you speculate that the Utah game will be Homecoming? When do they usually officially announce such things?

I would expect SDSU to be homecoming on 10/30. Who knows though...if the UW marketing department is invovled it will be all facked up.

Night game tune up 9/4 vs. SUU is smart, to prep for the turds from Boise at night on 9/18. The 'tard game is scheduled technically at 4pm (maybe we can get another power outage).

I have a good feeling about this season. Biggest key will be to remain healthy.

Homecoming is typically on the week of my birthday (10/16). Looking at the schedule, I'd say it's probably Utah, just because it's the only home game for a month.

True. UW will fack it up though...I have faith.

I love the night games. My girlfriend and I have season tickets living in Buffalo, Wyoming. It's a four and a half hour trip one way. We made six trips to Laramie this year and stayed the night every time. With noon or one kick-offs you end up staying the night before the game and driving home the day of the game. After a big win, you want to stay and party, but we had to drive home. It's either that or you drive down the day of the game and stay Saturday night. If that's the case you miss the tailgate.

This way we can drive down the morning of the game, catch the tailgate, party after the game, and still get to miss church on Sunday. I love it.

Night games here (very rare as we don't have lights) are just as well attended as day games.. I don't hear too many complaints or anything like that. Night games are a blast though.. such a nice change from the normal.. plus, tailgating can start MUCH sooner.

Though, I think we could all do without a repeat of 2004, when we up against Utah, and they couldn't get anything working for 2 hours or so. That royally sucked.

I like the thoughts Titleist...but do you really think the athletic department, UW, and the city of Laramie are going to allow earlier tailgating? 4 hours prior to kick-off has been the official tailgate start time...and I expect the douchebags mentioned above to stick to that no matter what time kick-off is.

I can see it now..."Tailgating will open / start at 3pm" for SUU. Then again, maybe that isn't a bad thing...I know a bunch of old bastards that can't hold thier liquor and will end up a wreck if given more than 4 hours.

It doesn't have to be "official" tailgating. :D

I believe Weber is on the schedule for 2011 as well. Can't escape them either. Anyways, welcome to the board, and welcome to UW! :)
