Texas and Boise back to back won't be fun.. but otherwise, a solid schedule. Don't overlook Toledo..

We need to send a thank you note to the people that put this together.

We're likely to have the most difficult schedule in America with Texas, Boise, TCU, Utah, BYU, and AFA. We play quality ooc opponents that are attractive to our t.v. partners.

How do we get rewarded. We get 12 weeks in a row without a bye and TCU, Utah, and BYU on consecutive weeks.

Ouch.

I guess our "Cowboy Toughness" is going to be tested this year.

Or is the week after CSU considered the bye week? Regardless, terrible move. Thanks for pointing that out, WYCowboy..

Would you speculate that the Utah game will be Homecoming? When do they usually officially announce such things?

DC is a badass, by the time the season rolls around, he will have the whole team thinking, "F#@k it, Bye weeks are for pussies. We don't need a Bye week, besides 11/6/10 is a Bye week."

No offense NM that was a joke. Anyway, I hoping for the 10/16/10 game to be snowed out and rescheduled to get our guys a little break.

csewe does not have a bye week either. Moving the last game up a week killed the bye week.

By the way, what does everyone think of the night games? I kind of like them but I hate driving home on 287 at night on a saturday night.

I like the night games. Hopefully it doesn't affect attendance. I don't like 12 noon kickoffs either though. I would like the majority of our games to kickoff around 1:30-2.

I would expect SDSU to be homecoming on 10/30. Who knows though...if the UW marketing department is invovled it will be all facked up.

Night game tune up 9/4 vs. SUU is smart, to prep for the turds from Boise at night on 9/18. The 'tard game is scheduled technically at 4pm (maybe we can get another power outage).

I have a good feeling about this season. Biggest key will be to remain healthy.

I have an uneasy feeling about this season. CSU had a similar conference schedule last season coming off of their bowl win, front-loaded with the top 3 in the conference (top 4 for us with Air Force) and it seemed like it took the gas out of them. Added to that we have Texas and Boise. We might have the toughest 7 game strech in the country.

Yikes.

The big difference is that CSU bowl team was loaded with seniors. Our bowl team was loaded with freshman. They were expected to take a step back. Wyoming is primed for a step toward the top. I was the New Mexico game once in a while and that team was heads and shoulders above the team that started the year. I expect next years team to be head and shoulders better than the New Mexico Bowl team and am looking forward to seeing what DC and the crew can do in his 2nd year.

Fear should have left with Joe Glenn.
