Football Gameplan's 2013 FBS Wraparound - Week 4

Interesting that you picked Wick to have a big game. I personally feel like Smith and the passing game are going to have their way with a weak Air Force secondary.

I think AF believes that we come out throwing, and will be ready for it. In all three games, first 2 plays were passes. I think CDC sends Wick up the middle and starts gashing for yards. Then Smith will light them up for mega yards.

This AF defense has been getting lit up on the ground. By pounding wick up the middle this will demand a safety or olb to either come up or stack inside the box. The flats will be open for Ruffran or miller AF might get caught witout safety help on Herron for a deep pass. Either way having Wick as legitimate threat makes Bretts job easier especially on the read option. AF must account for Wick when hes in the game. Brett is getting longer runs because of this.
