Fan escorted from AA during game with UNLV

I saw him down behind the Wyoming bench in the second half and saw security (if you want to call them that) get him back to his seat. About 5 or 10 minutes later he is escorted out by police he fans cheer. I later here he was trying to pick a fight with Wyoming head coach Larry Shyatt.

I do believe but am not sure Charles Hankerson was between the fan and the bench and as big as he is that may be better than any police officer.

wtf? seriously? Why was he trying to fight coach Shy? Because we were getting rocked or what?

I am dead serious I tweeted about the fan being escorted out as it happened, heard from a source and also saw a tweet later about the fan wanting to fight Shyatt.

Wonder how many beers he had tonight. I'm guessing 7-8.
If that were the case, he would have attempted to piss on Shyatt instead of fighting him.

After the game I saw a female officer running around the concourse to get somewhere, not sure what that one was about.

True.

Reminds me of the dumbassed claims BYU fans used to have against Wyoming fans years ago. They used to claim they were pissed on by Wyo fans.

Maybe she was trying to find the ladies room?

Yeah, I saw it all happen. He was in the section to my left. Blue and white hoodie over a ballcap and wearing sunglasses. Guy was channeling Ted Kazinski or something. Was screaming at the refs the whole game, then went all the way down to the chain that controls access to the press rows and bench area. He was screaming that he wanted a piece of Shyatt. Couple of the players noticed him first and stood up, looking at him in case he decided to come over the chain. An arena worker got over there and told him to go sit down, which he eventually did, but continued his screed. Finally some fans got on his ass and told him to shut the f--k up, including a retired judge from Cheyenne. Meanwhile, the arena employee got on the phone and called the arena manager, who came over and talked with her and then must've contacted LPD. In an amazing display of swift response, it took LPD about 5 more minutes to figure out what was going on and who the perp was. Finally, one of them walked up to the guy and asked him to come with him and led him up to where three more officers were waiting. Not sure if he said something to LPD, or if, during his rant, he directed threats at Shyatt, but it was pretty obvious that he was hooked and booked when the officer that escorted him out never returned, then, afterward, other officers were taking witness statements from fans nearby.

Anyone know who this Koo-Koo for Coco Puffs guy is?

Okay, I was sitting in that area. Missed it, as I began to feel like shit and had to leave, but can't believe I missed that.

Blue and White Hoodie?

Yeah I know that guy...
He's not from around here
He was just trying to fit in
and was doing his best DC imitation

his name is Calhoun,
but around these parts we just call him Howdy Doody

We were wondering why he was being taken out.
Though if I sat lower I might get taken out by cops for the things I would say to the refs on a regular basis :tickedoff:

that was the loudest cheer all game long!!! i didn't really know what was going on. natives are restless!!!! truly a pathetic showing

Saw you on video, or wouldn't have known you were in attendance. A bottle of Pendleton still awaits. Fucking Boise!

Sorry, Man. It was a pretty quick in-and-out trip, especially when I saw the weather forecast for Denver the next day. Wound up taking an early flight on United (which made me throw up in my mouth a little bit) instead of waiting to see if SWA was going to cancel the later flight I was already booked on (they did).

You heading to LV for the Tournament?

Probably good planning...DIA was a mess (and so were the roads). Not headed to the tourney this year, unfortunately. Hopefully the Cowgirls can at least break the MWC Tourney jinx this year!?! Any summer plans? The Steinly Cup in Saratoga (August) is a must attend if you have the means. Keep me posted.
