I hope that Laramie celebrated last night. Now time for a tough road test. Illinois State lost by 3 to #5 Louisville. Lets go pokes, a statement win last night and one on Tuesday will give the fan base a ton of confidence.
 
Great game last night. As a UW fan, you HAD to have a blast if you were there (I was). Great environment for college basketball. Shyatt out coached Boyle, and UW outplayed CU. Boyle has taken on the ways of major crybaby...sad to see, as I actually thought a lot of him while at Greeley. Also impressed by the number of CU douchenozzles that made the trip...probably about 500+ in attendance. And they kept cheering until the last second, even the fuck em up fuck em up Go CU chant (which displays their true character and class).

Not shocking that Denver news (TV) didn't report on the game! Typical.

Yeah, I think Drew Schroyer (or whatever it is) was shut up by us beating his beloved fluffs.
 
Awesome win last night. Not sure if you guys have seen the new RPI ratings. Wyoming jumped 113 spots overnight to 51. Hope they can keep this momentum going into Tuesdays game.
 
Boy am I glad the pokes won.

If we lost, we would have to endure all the crying about how bad the refs were.
As it is, the Buffs are blasting the refs over on their message boards and I haven't heard one Wyomingite say a word about the subject. Interesting how winning will fill that void.

Someone commented they felt there were a few iffy calls, I recall a few calls that could have been either way but shitty video you can't tell clear enough what is going on. I think from what I could tell the game was fairly well played but I saw some questionable charges.

However our defense and their top scorer going 2/* was the main problem not officiating.

Yep, our defense suffocated them. And Adams is going to be real threat!
 
Watched replay this morning in HD. Reffing wasn't too bad, sounded worse on radio. CU played aggressive on boards and got penalized for it.
 
I don't understand why the Hippies are bitching so much about the reffing. Tad said before the game they would play aggressive slap style defense

Head coach Tad Boyle watched in disgust as Leonard Washington "beasted" the Buffs for the second consecutive year.

Boyle said - "We have guys that have to change their identity from offensive players to defensive players."

Because they are "Mighty CU" and they'll "fuck us up, fuck us up, go CU!" everytime we play them, except for the last 6 meetings, but those may as well have never happened. Or that UW actually has a pretty decent b-ball tradition.
 
it was interesting playing with those CU jokers in attendance, this is truly a program changer if we take it that way....we coulda beat anybody that night in my opinion. Leonard was truly a mini Manimal!! Luke needs to get outta his funk...i give Riley huge Kudos for giving it a go...rest him now til conference. I love our depth, and esp Cooke he's only gonna get better and better.
Fun night great energy and watch that joker Boyle pout and jump around what a joke this Buffs team was truly overrated and over looked us to play the Sheep next week, don't say this very often, but Goooo Sheeeeep
 
I find it funny that you guys are upset about the "fuck 'em up, fuck 'em up, go CU" chant. They stole that from us years ago. That's what you say in the break for the Hey Song! FUCK 'EM UP, FUCK 'EM UP, GO WYO!!!

You wanna explain what kind of funk Luke is in? He came into the CU game the leading 3 point shooter in the MWC, did you see him against UCSB and USD? Did you see the defense CU played on him, he hardly had any room yet still scored his average? He isn't a guy that gets to the rim, he is a shooter and he played great D against CU and has been shooting just fine this year.
