Ejection

With what Stone got away with earlier, and as physical as USU was and the no-calls, that ejection was weak as hell.

So will Adams be available for the next game or does an ejection in the second half equal a suspension?

I don't think the football rules apply to basketball.

Especially since it is a targeting rule for football.

Not according to the NCAA. I dont know about the mwc though.

I just did some rule searching and it said that a flagrant 2 personal does not result in a suspension, but a flagrant 2 technical does.
But in one of the articles I read, right below where it says that there is a suspension, it says that the rule committee voted and changed it to no suspension for the following game.

Vorel and Gagliardi both tweeted that the refs will submit a report to the MW and the MW will make a ruling as to whether he is suspended for the next game.

I'd say there is a 90% chance Adams gets suspended for the UNM game. Frankly, I wouldn't argue against it. Not a smart move on his part.

Very good win, though. The Pokes made the Aggies look far worse than they actually are.

I gotta say, Adams is my favorite player to watch on this team but I am not certain he deserves to play next game. Throwing a punch (which upon replay was very intentional) is no joke and cannot be tolerated. We don't need ANY Luke Martinez type situations. Hope Shyatt addresses this if the MWC doesn't.

And Fresno's player doesn't deserve to play either.

This might seem weird, but I don't think we beat NM with Adams anyways, so it might be good for him to sit. Get him extra pumped up for the UNLV game, because that is a winnable game.

Exactly - how did Guerreo get off scot free with what he pulled. You let one get away with it and others will try.

Bullsh-t attitude. We need every weapon we have on the floor in the Pit to get the win. End of story.

With you 100%. Adams was having a POW game and his sophomore head swelled with his stats to the point he showed his ass and cost his team the use of his talents the rest of the game and, quite possibly, their best chance at a win in Albuquerque next Wednesday. Hope he learns from this.

Beaver, I disagree... if the kids play like they did today, they will be very tough to beat and that incudes NM and SDSU.
