Edwards is now preaching slow down pace


All the players they have have skill sets to play fast. He wants to play slow because they're bad. Not to create an advantage.


They beat San Jose up the court 30-40 times on accident and didn't even try to push it.


Should've scored 90 and beat San Jose by 30 tonight

He says slow down because he wants the margin of victory for the opponent to look smaller. Better to muck it up and keep the game sloppy

This is one time that I will defend Edwards. With about 7 scholarship guys and 2 walk-ons to choose from total, there isn't much choice but to slow the pace. Can't run the team to exhaustion and foul trouble. The only chance of winning really is to keep the game close and to hopefully play well at the end of games.

Edwards is saying " You guys aren't in good enough shape to play high intensity fast paced ball because I haven't emphasized physical conditioning. But you should have realized I wasn't doing this so should have taken it upon yourself to work on your conditioning. It's your fault, you pansies"

A win is a win... Shyatt’s teams won by slowing it down and taking it down to 2 seconds on the shot clock on almost every possession. It takes a ton of conditioning be it a slow down offense, or a fast paced one. This win was what we needed for this team to gain confidence. I think we have a few more wins coming our way. I think we hold court against CSU and maybe Air Force. On a side note, our win against South Carolina is starting to look really nice. They are playing well in the SEC
