Anyone know what’s going on with him? I read he’s suspended indefinitely, but I was hoping there’d be a chance he could return for the last part of the season. I trust Sunny is doing what needs to be done, but I hope the kid didn’t screw up so bad he’s a lost cause. We don’t need another situation like football faced a while back.

Does it matter too much? I suspect a player disciplined twice like him is unlikely to return next year (I could be wrong). Probably better to have the scholarship available to bring in someone else.

It would only help to have another big that can rebound a bit better than what we have. You’re probably right that he’s not likely to return, and if he has issues detrimental to the team, then a different player would be better. I just like the guy’s energy and wish that he could get his crap together. There’s an upside to him that I think could be fun.

I’d be pissed too if I was getting the PT he was
I guess I do not see what you see in Ebube.

Outside of maybe two games, the dude has been down right bad. This isn't a freshman that just needs some game time to get adjusted to the speed and physicality of college basketball. This is his fourth season in college basketball. He has hung around because of his size and "potential", but it's becoming pretty clear that "potential" is never going to be fulfilled.

If Wicks started him and gave him significant minutes, I'd be willing to bet he would foul out before halftime with 4-5 turnovers to his credit.

When he was getting consistent minutes, and not getting yanked around, at other schools he produced at a very very good level per minute played

His per minute stats this year are not far off from his last season at Southern Illinois. He is actually almost averaging as many minutes per game: 11.5 at SIU and 9.0 here at UW.

His turnovers and personal fouls are up quite a bit, but I don't know if I would blame Wicks for that. More likely to be because the bigs in the MWC are more talented than what he faced in the Missouri Valley.

Maybe it’s a sign of his resilience. He didn’t walk away, or board a plane outta here, which is more than what some former Pokes can say. I hope he tears it up and gets rolling right into the tournament! Go Pokes!
