What a great weekend of sports!!! And for all those that bitch about supporting high schools & high school football players in Wyoming, HERE is your chance to own up!
Dear Cowboys/Cowgirls fan,
I want to thank you once again for supporting Cowboy and Cowgirl student-athletes. Your support is providing financial assistance to almost 400 student-athletes as they pursue their academic and athletic goals.
The University of Wyoming and the Laramie community are proud to be hosting the Wyoming State High School Football Championships in War Memorial Stadium on November 13 and 14, 2009. This is a great opportunity for Wyoming to showcase our University and athletics programs. To secure this event on Jonah Field in future years, we need UW supporters to buy tickets to this event whether they plan to attend or not. The success of this event depends upon revenue and the operation of the event.
Please consider buying at least one All-Session ticket for $15 as a way of supporting Wyoming high school football and the University of Wyoming. You may want to consider coming to Laramie to participate in a very exciting sports weekend which includes the following events:
