Time to "shelve" the Dunk Town moniker / identity. Maybe next year.

As Adams stated at the post game presser - Wyoming needed to be tougher, physically and mentally. I agree, and mostly physically, as we look soft and kind of pussyish.

And FFS - Barnes, gawd dammit, go up strong with some anger and power, and quit being so timid and hesitant.

I am definitely not saying he's Nance 2.0 or anything like that, but my god. What the hell happened to that kid last night? He looked like it was his first time on a basketball court....

You laughed me off the first time Peaches, but I'm telling you... it's those damn alternate uniforms! We haven't won since they were busted out the first time! Having more than 2 uniforms in your closet zaps all your Cowboy toughness out of you! We won't win another game until our basketball team embraces Cowboy toughness! All the way from the court, to the weight room, to the classroom, to the goddamned closet!

Part of my issue, is I think he has an enormous up-side, but is always 1/2 step slow to the basket, and has that lost in the headlights look most of the time.

When it was discussed that he had his big break out game against Cal (28 minutes, 10 points, on 3-7 fg and 4-8 ft) he also had only 3 rebounds and 2 turnovers...I about lost my mind. That was no break out game, that was an indication that he doesn't have it yet.

Your call...we clearly aren't the "Dunk Town" team we were last year (thanks primarily to Cooke & Nance)...our identity is completely different.

Just guessing, but I think that we have been out-dunked (total / total) this season.

You certainly wouldn't be as busy this time around. I was thinking of starting a thread to put all the WYOVISION highlights videos from each game together in one spot, feel free to take the reigns on that one.
