Don't look now....EMU is 2-1

They've beaten two bad teams though...a FCS school and Charlotte, a school that restarted its football program in 2013 and is in second year at FBS level.

They had a hilarious play in today's game. 3 personal foul penalties allowed them to kickoff from the opponents 20.

So have we. The combined record of the two teams we beat is 0-6.

Shit, kicking off from the 20 yard line and their kicker still couldn't reach the end zone

Now that's something I've never seen before. Too bad they flubbed the onside kick attempt.

3 personal fouls on one play would be only 15 yards right? When did they add them. Two would be declined and one accepted? Different now?

At the Beavers game yesterday, there was a similar situation. The Beavs had 2 personal fouls after the touchdown, two different players each got one. The Beavs were going to kick off from their own 5, but the ref said that only one could be enforced on the kick. So it makes me wonder if the kickoff in the EMU game should have actually happened from the opponents 20, or if the Pac12 guys screwed up.

Pretty significant difference between Charlotte and Northern Illinois.

Charlotte did as well vs Louisville as FSU did...not that I think Charlotte is as good as FSU, but anything can happen on any given Sunday.

They didn't do quite as well... the margin of victory was 56 vs. Carolina and 43 vs. Fla State, that's 2 scores difference, Louisville out-gained Carolina by 450 yards and Fla State by only 250 yards, but I see what you're saying. It's hard to judge how teams faired against the same opponent if the opponent scored practically every time they touched the ball. More than likely if Carolina played Florida State it would probably be a 40-50 point loss.
