I realize that Desmar is dead to a lot of us -- I just thought it was interesting that he was mentioned in this article.

You know what I've found interesting about this coaching change? Look at how many players transferred out of the program under Schroyer. So far under Shyatt we've gotten 2 transfers in, and that's in less than a year!

I always thought Desmar was a ball hog and played for himself, I think Wyoming is better off with him at SIU.

He's gone, and obviously never wanted to play under Shyatt. So, meh.

Desmar had a lot of selfish problems and sitting out a year after a transfer could turn him into a better athlete. If he practices hard during his sit out year he could even learn how to not turn the ball over. While I wish he could have played under Shyatt it's water under the bridge.

Desmar is going to get his chance to play against his old team. The Pokes play at SIU on Dec. 4th in the MWC/MVC challenge this year.

It would be kind of fun to watch Washington give Desmar a "hard" foul if he tried to come into the paint.
