As we have been discussing our apparent lack of depth and freshmen coming off of the bench when the starting shooters go cold, I went back and looked at how our recruiting class was rated last year.

The thing that is interesting to me is that Coach Shyatt's use of players is almost completely the inverse of how they were rated coming into the program. The top rated guy didn't have what it took to last a semester. The two freshmen that received zero stars are the two that have been used when the game was on the line.
As I think back now, Marc Bailey was the lowest-rated player we signed the year that he came into the program. It seems like there was an Aron Abrams that was the same size and build and the national people thought he was going to be an instant star at U.W.
