He eagerly went toe-to-toe with the Bruins, outdueling Miller 41 points to 24, including a perfect 16-for-16 at the free-throw line, brashly winking at Billy Packer as he ran by the press table during the game.

Man I watched that game over and over and over until the ncaa vault took it offline unless you paid for it!

Not sure. Mine opens the game right up and starts playing it.

Give me the link a the top of your page when you are viewing the game. Maybe they got sick of me watching it.

I was a senior in highschool when that article came out, I can remember running home for lunch opening the mailbox and that beloved SI was in the mail, I knew right there I wanted to be a part of Wyoming Basketball and UW as a whole. I went and bought 1 more to keep in a plastic cover for the rest of my life and one to read whenever! I can remember when they had them as high as 3 in their rankings, and they hit a #5 ranking in the AP top 20 at that time. Man I just wish I coulda went to more games that year, living in Buffalo, my folks didn't get us to Laramie much, we did go to the shootout in Casper to see that team and man oh man. Listening to Dave Walsh paint those pictures, and then the tourney wow oh wow, i can remember staying up late to watch them beat Virginia, the UCLA game I was so nervous that I was driving around listening to it on the radio, I couldn't bring myself to watch it and to this day I haven't been able to see that game, I wish I did or could now. Then the valiant effort against UNLV, wow oh wow. I also remember the year before in that run to the NIT final game. Then 88, when Benny took over, and we get a date with the run and gun Loyola Marymount, ugh...we skipped school that afternoon to watch.... just wish Jimmy Brandenburg woulda stayed, imagine the dynasty he woulda created....ok I'm done, here's to a wonderful season yet to come the rest of this year and hopefully my 1st visit to an NCAA tourney game!!! GO POKES
