In today's WTE, Scott Nulph (never known for his brazen/honest opinion) labels the Wyoming Football team with the following line: "The Cowboys are exactly what they're record says they are: an average football team."
How Scottie wrote that line with a straight face is beyond me.
Writers such as Nulph, in my opinion, are part of the problem, part of the malaise, part of the; 'we know who we are' crowd, who chafes at anyone suggesting that Wyoming sports can be much more than they have been.
Retire, Scott.
Maybe take some lessons from Mike Vorel.
Or go back to covering Iowa State.
Maybe Cyclones fans can be seduced with such absurdity and tomfoolery.
An 'average' football team?
P.S. Predictably, Nulph is in favor of Christensen returning next season. Of course he is.
