DC to try out for the Clippers

Saw on twitter that Derek Cooke Jr. Is going to the Clippers for a tryout. That is awesome. Good luck. Not sure if he has a chance to make it but I always thought if another player from the MWC championship team had a chance to make the NBA(other than Nance obv) it would be DC. He was still so raw but athletic and if he could continue to improve at the rate he did at UW his ceiling was high.

Well. I really meant of the outgoing seniors that year. I didn't know that year how Josh's senior year was gonna turn out so at that point I didn't have an opinion.

At this point, I think they have similar chances. I don't think Josh is going to be drafted so he will have to go this same route. They both have positives and negatives that are different.

DC would be a great league minimum option to play off of CP3. A mid range jump shot and knowing defensive rotations could land DC and his athleticism in the NBA for 5-10 years. Having CP3 create for him could even land him a moderate second contract.

Lol...I would have put money on Riley sitting on the bench as a grad assistant last year. But I'm sure he will end up coaching at some point. As far as DC he was definitely the best all around athlete on the team. I think he has a solid chance of making the cut. At the least we should
get to see 3 former pokes in summer league this season

I think both adams and even dc will be in the nba. The way adams seems shut out of the draft process is bizarre. Hope its because he has a promise. Lakers/billy donovan/danny ainge type deal

Fair enough I guess I was thinking that he had a shot to make it in the NBA and everyone I told that thought I was crazy. And at the time I probably thought he did have a better chance than Adams. Now it seems to me they have the same shot.
