At a big school, if you are 5-1 in trophy games, you are likely well above .500 in the rest of your games.


That and it is just kind of a funny stat DC has. No marquee wins other than the 2009 NM Bowl.
Just shows how bad our rivals have been since DC has been here.
Could you imagine if Utah, BYU, and TCU were still in the conference with as good as Fresno and Boise are now?

Mine is that there are a lot more non-trophy games than trophy games, and you don't get into bowl games or increase your recruiting edge by only winning trophy games.

Actually, as a moderator of this board, it's kind of my job to read the posts. Also, I'm supposed to keep things civil and organized on the forums. If you have a thought you need to post, and there really isn't a thread already open that would fit the theme of that thought, then by all means, start a new thread. But starting a new thread with info that came up somewhere else, just to either incite an argument or troll another user, is not an effective use of the board.

Finally, just because you have the ability to post, doesn't mean you have to post. While MrTitleist is the man in charge here, don't think I won't lock/delete/merge/move threads that either don't belong or fit better in current discussions.

They've always been able to lock and move threads. We just choose to not use them very much. I still have the ban power though. We don't ban without a discussion first (unless it's spam).. and there's only been like 3 bans in the history of this site.. two of them were East Popcorn.
