At a big school, that would mean something.
Only if any of those schools were even close to a winning record. That statement is laughable.BeaverPoke said:At a big school, that would mean something.

I think you missed the point he was making, At a big school being 5-1 in trophy games usually means you have a winning record.

Mine is that there are a lot more non-trophy games than trophy games, and you don't get into bowl games or increase your recruiting edge by only winning trophy games.

See my post two above this.
I am not saying "rah-rah DC is 5-1 in trophy games". Just point out that he is, and has sucked outside of them.

So, you started a new thread, just to inform us of the fluky stat? How about you not use the forums as your personal blog. You don't need to start a new thread every time you find something interesting. I'm sure it would fit in one of the numerous other threads on the boards.

Just because I post something doesn't mean you need to be mad about it.

No matter how much this made me laugh, it's posts like this that aren't helping the situation at all.

Actually, as a moderator of this board, it's kind of my job to read the posts. Also, I'm supposed to keep things civil and organized on the forums. If you have a thought you need to post, and there really isn't a thread already open that would fit the theme of that thought, then by all means, start a new thread. But starting a new thread with info that came up somewhere else, just to either incite an argument or troll another user, is not an effective use of the board.
Finally, just because you have the ability to post, doesn't mean you have to post. While MrTitleist is the man in charge here, don't think I won't lock/delete/merge/move threads that either don't belong or fit better in current discussions.

Same here, Beaver. I've had to keep my mouth shut up until now. As of now, the gloves comes off!!!
