DC deserves coach of the year consideration

what if we go 10-3? :D

Yeah, won't happen, and I'm still not going to expect to even get a bowl. I've had too many letdowns already...
 
No..., if we finished 10-3 maybe. But that debacle in Logan is still a blotch on the season as a whole.

Man, that game just gets more and more difficult to comprehend. If we don't get trucked in Logan a 10 win season (counting a bowl victory) becomes extremely attainable. It is, however, to the team/staff's credit that that game didn't derail the season. It would have been very easy for us to tailspin after that debacle.
 
1 Game isn't going to be the say all be all for DC. If Patterson is being talked about for MWC CotY DC deserves it far more if anything TCU slipped this year and has hasn't done anything to deserve those honors.

Exactly. What is more deserving? A team who goes from 13-0 Rose bowl champs, to 10-2 Vegas Bowl. Or, A coach who's team played a tough sched last year and ended 3-9, only to switch rails (with freshman mind you) and possibly go 8-4. Which is motive for CotY?
 
I think DC would and should definitely be considered for CoY.. the Pokes have had a tremendous turn around this year and have it done with a freshman QB and a relatively young team. Very positive improvement for the Pokes, can't be ignored.
