David Hearn Qualified for the US Open Today!

David Hearn shot a -10 for the day. It is commonly referred to as the longest day of golf because they play 36 holes in a day and the top 15 went from the Columbus region. Hearn finished tied for second with a strong 2nd round finish. This will be his 4th major all have been US Opens. He has never made the cut so that is what I am hoping for. Good work David.

Good for him, as was mentioned in a forum before, Hearn has a nice all around game but struggles with consistency.. He has the game to play on tour for awhile, hopefully he can get a win or two

I couldn't agree more. Somedays he looks like he can win and the next day he struggles. He needs to find a way to string 4 great rounds together and he will win. I was in a chat with a golf analyst yesterday and he said that Hearn is currently the best Canadian golfer on tour. Weir will go down as the best ever because of his green jacket.

I hope beyond hope that some Canadian steps up. Weir is an asshole. Dealt with that guy many times while working in SLC.
