Eric Schmoldt is reporting that Terry has left the football team. That leaves us with one scholarship RB for the rest of the spring in Alexander. Looks like the freshman running back are going to be forced into playing time immediately, whether they are ready for it or not.
Christensen is a tough nosed coach and runs a strict program. Attrition is always a problem when you have a coach like that who isn't at a big name program. Kids are generally willing to stick around at a bigger program just for the prestige, even if they don't like the way the coach does things. It also isn't in their best interest to quit because they often have a legitimate shot at playing professional football, whether in the NFL or a lesser professional league. Neither of those are particularily true at a progream like Wyoming, so it makes it much easier for a kid to leave the team. I think a tough-nosed approach is the right one to take at Wyoming, but I do want to point out the potential for high attrition with a program like Christensen runs. Any thoughts?
