Its well said. Many on here understood at the beginning of the season...bend, don't break. If we score more than they do, then we win.

Corel needs to realize that when you are playing run heavy and option teams, you don't look at sack numbers. You look at tackles for loss, which we have been doing really well at.

Current national standings in team defense - tackles for loss:

Fresno State is ranked #2 in the nation in tackles for loss.

Hawaii is ranked #5.

Utah State is ranked #34.

Wyoming is tied with a bunch of teams at #54 (SDSU is one of those teams we are tied with).

Not sure TFL is very meaningful, especially when you see teams with horrible defenses like Fresno St. and Hawaii in the top 5.
