Good for the girls. I remember hanging in the Gallery (for you old timers) one night listening to the Cowgirls play Stanford in the Elite 8. Nice to see them heading in that direction again.

I know Shannahan was. She's the best player in my opinion. And Yerty was fired not because she was doing a poor job, she got canned because of NCAA violations (I think paying rent for some players or something).

I believe there are 4 Yerty recruits left: Beach, Shanahan, Chacon and Slofkiss. Those 4 are all among the top players on the team. However, they make up most of the upperclassmen as well.

Reed Copeland (Fr.)-is going to be an "all-timer", if she sticks around and stays healthy.
Same with Mattison DeGarmo (Fr.).

Looks like Courtney Chacon helped recruit her younger Cousin to come in this year as well, so it looks like we're doing pretty good in the recruiting department so far.

A conference championship and a tournament run couldn't hurt much either!
