From the Denver Post 5/15/2010:
The Wyoming men's basketball team will compete in the Cancun Challenge in November, a tournament that begins with games on campus sites before the finals in Cancun Mexico.
The 8 team tournament field is being finalized, but so far Missouri, Providence, La Salle, North Florida and Morgan State are scheduled to compete with the Cowboys.

I don't know how many of you have been to Cancun before, but we love the place! Matter of fact we are heading there in just a few weeks. Watching this tournament on TV last year made me wish the Cowboys would get to participate someday! I'm very excited and just hope I can afford a 2nd trip there in a year!

Well, if you want to go you better have some money put away because according to official UW release:

For Cowboy fans looking to attend the Cancun Challenge, game admission is only available through the purchase of a Triple Crown travel package. This package includes lodging at Aventura Palace, food and drink, airport transfers, admission to all tournament games, admission to the tournament banquet with the teams and more. Packages start at $840 per person. For information on a travel package, visit www.cancunchallenge.net, contact Triple Crown Sports at (970) 672-0567 or email [email protected].

The package does not include air travel. To book airfare and trip insurance, contact New Horizons Travel, the official travel agency of Wyoming Athletics, at (800) 864-4364.
