Isaac Leppke from Dinuba, CA announced on Twitter today the he'll be attending UW next season, likely a walk-on. Here's his Hudl and info:

Appears to be very athletic. Might need some weight on him.. might be athletic enough to be a TE/WR

I hope this young man turns out to be like JJ Watt when he walked on at Wisky. And, no offense to the OP as you are rightfully posting pertinent news.

BUT, we are ~45 days separated from the worst year I have ever witnessed, there have been no visible changes made or communicated (that we could control), and we as fans are stuck celebrating the commitment of a walk-on.

What little faith I had in Burman/Bohl making this right has vanished. NO ONE is being held accountable for last seasons cluster**** except for us fans. Get your wallets ready boys the CBJC calls and pleads to renew your season tickets are right around the corner. "Those who stay will be champions" - Pfft!

Looks like this thread needs some cheese to go with the whine.

Do any of you know how fast 14.3 in the 110 hurdles is? Yeah. I'll just say it's good to have people on our team that are this fast and coordinated. And as a walk-on? Good get.

A short list of former Wyoming players who were QB's in high school.

1. John Fletcher

2. Jovon Bouknight

3. Mitch Unrein

I don't think faith is necessary, but some patience is. It would be unrealistic to expect a winning season in year 2.

It is completely fair to question the methods in this rebuild or if last season is an indication that this won't work. I get that, but at the same time, you pretty much commit to 4 years with a 1-2 year grace period of whatever happens.

By year 4, things better be pretty good. No excuses.

Year 3 should give a clear picture where Bohl's program is going.

I definitely expect year 3 to be better than this year's fiasco and I largely agree with you. However, IMO, it would take a complete train wreck again next season to question his job security.

You almost have to give 4 years, regardless.

We had a transfer walk on from Oregon St a couple years back that was a state champion Hurdler/High jumper and he was terrible! On the other hand we had a couple of local hurdlers that were pretty good as well. Harshman, Wilson and Simpson. I believe Wilson and Simpson were state champs. Simpson was a multi event state champ; 110, HJ, Long Jump.
