The numbers 12 and 16 must haunt the University of Wyoming and Air Force football teams.
UW (1-4 overall, 0-1 Mountain West) has lost its last three games by a combined 12 points, including last week’s 35-28 overtime loss at Nevada, where UW led by seven late in the fourth quarter.
Air Force’s (2-3, 1-1) losses have been by a combined 16 points, including a 28-21 overtime loss at home to Navy last week where the Falcons held an eight-point fourth-quarter lead.
