First off, my family has been affected by this virus. I know it's real, I know it's serious, and it hasn't gone away.

That being said, this whole football and basketball situation cuts against the grain of Wyoming's ethical foundation. What are we if not resilient and courageous? How do we back up our motto if we back down now? How do we reinforce our recruitments that we are what we say we are.

Cowboy Tough is our brand, our heartbeat... And we shouldn't sit this out.

My comment wasn't referring to Covid specific cases, it was referring to the decision by the conference. Yes, Wyo could have put up a fight, ruffled a lot of feathers, pissed off a lot of other people/schools, and still would have ended up exactly where we are now. OR they could do what they did, voice their disagreement but cede that it is what it is and live to fight another day.
