First, Gosar and Cox, Wyoming people and good guys, yes! Ready for this job, I don't think so. I think that the pressure for this job is going to be really, really high! Our fans' expectations for next year, fairly or unfairly, are going to be at a level where we won't accept anything close to where we have been for quite a long time. I don't care if there are transfers from current players or not. You better win and win now! After reading everybody's comments over the last 2 months, I am not sure why anyone would want the job. You sign your name on the contract and your back is against the wall immediately!
Second, Burman is feeling the pressure. His letter yesterday I think proves that the head coaching hire is firmly the deciding factor in his length at UW. I am sure he is catching it from all angles... from the Admin to the "boosters with deep pockets", to us and he feels the pressure. I truely think that he knows how the majority wanted BCG and anything less no matter who it is,will catch some negative feedback. I think that is weighing really heavy right now for him. Now, with that being said, this basically is his fault for the previous hire. Don't think he can go 0 for 2 and he knows it!
