Figured we would see someone leave with school being out. Secondary gets a bit thinner....hopefully that's the last player leaving.

Thats a big hit losing Fort. He could play both Safety and Corner, which are positions we are particularly particularly thin at. Wonder what the reason was? He was 2nd on the depth chart and would've gotten a lot of playing time. This will be his 3rd school and it seems really strange he'd walk away from a scholarship to attend a JC for a year. Quite a gamble if he thinks he'd earn a scholarship to a big time school. Must be homesick, thats all I can think.

Is it possible this move is not football related? A transfer to a JUCO would indicate perhaps he may not have been academically eligible for the fall. Idk, that's what I read into a transfer like that. But ACS also transferred to a JUCO.

From the sounds of it, based on a posting on the other board, he didn't like going to school. Makes sense why he would transfer to a Juco called Citrus College if that was case.

He could play both Safety and Corner, which are positions we are particularly particularly thin at.

I thought I remembered the staff saying that we had good depth in the secondary during spring ball. Losing Fort hurts, but not as bad as losing a lineman.

I just looked at the tweet that Ringolsby posted. I think folks there are making the fatal flaw of presuming "school is not for me" means school in general rather than "this school" (meaning Wyoming). If school in general is literally not for him...then why would he be transferring to more school. Reading tweets from many young players is more diffiult than reading a foreign language IMO.

There is no doubt that he didn't like school......or Laramie in general.

Indeed! I think Huff will go today or tomorrow. How cool would it be if he ended up in Cleveland with Gip?

Cleveland is now right up there with Seattle in terms of best defensive backfield in football! I think Huff would be better off going somewhere where there is room on the field to play. Personally I like to see Wyoming players end up at Denver.

So you are saying....that I am not a very good salesman? Quite Honestly, I do not have my finger on this one at all. I left Laramie last week and wont be back till mid summer.
