He actually trained in London with the team in 2012. I think unless something goes seriously wrong that he will medal at the 2016 games.

What is almost more impressive is that there have been only three 4-time champs. Dake is the only one to have not taken a redshirt year. I would say Dake has had a more impressive collegiate career than Sanderson. Now Dake needs to go out and win that Gold Medal.

His opponent last night David Taylor, who is a friggen stud as well, is from Evanston Wyoming. Moved to Iowa when he was a kid. I wrestled USA with him way back in the day

David and I went to elementary and middle school together before he moved.
I have been wondering about his college career. Has he won a national title?

David Taylors career resume is crazy. He has won state championships and national championships in high school. He was won Big10 championships and NCAA championships in college. He has won individual awards. Crazy.
Think he will wrestle in the 16 olympics?

David Taylor won an NCAA title last year and also the 2012 wrestler of the year award (over Dake). Taylor lost in the championship match as a freshman in 2011. Most in the wrestling community favored Taylor over Dake going into this season. Taylor is legit and IMO will be a future olympian as well. Taylor has a year of eligibility remaining and has only 3 career collegiate losses.

Taylor vs. Dake in the finals yesterday was billed as the "match of the century".

IMO, the wrestler of the year for this year should go to Ed Ruth of Penn State though. He dominated everyone. Dake wrestled several close matches.
