Don't get me wrong, losing sucks. However, I'm actually optimistic about the team after this game. I'm not worried about the offense. Iowa is the toughest defense they'll play all year, so I don't believe today's results are indicative of the rest of the season. The defense was great.

We also got paid a ton of $$$ to play the Idiots Out Wandering Around. Defense played a complete game from start to finish. Really impressed with their performance.

NY6 may be out of the conversation for now, but this still could be a very good season!

Defense played really well

Was only able to watch the first half because of damn work, but I thought outside of the whiffed punt, we played them very tough. Play action on those 4th down and ones, or quick slants would've been much better calls in my opinion. If this game is indicative of how our D is this year and with any offensive production, I think we will be back in Laramie for the MWC championship again. Iowa has a very stout D and a tough O line. Our D went head to head with them and faired well. I think our offense will improve throughout the year
