My opinion, but the fan experience wasn't as great as I expected it to be in the remodeled AA. Still quite a few bugs to work out, and things that need attention. Obvious construction time didn't allow a lot of those details to be worked out.

I feel bad for the poor bastards in row 1, 2, and 3 across from the player benches that had the sun shine bright in their faces during the second half.
 
They definitely have some kinks to work out. The scoreboard placement is awful. The one over the truck tunnel is easy to see from my seat, but it should display the score all the time. I don't know if it was rebooting or what, but half the time it wasn't on.

Having the score on the big screen during game play is nice, but then they turn it off to run advertisements, etc..., during timeouts. They need to bring back a couple of old-school, always-on scoreboards that everyone can see.

Other than that, an awesome job on the remodel!

Things I liked:

The student section underneath the basket on the visitor's end is great! They didn't quite have their A game today, but it's nice to see we have a student presence there instead of a concrete wall.

The new sound system is awesome.

The court looked good. It's not nearly as light in person as it is in photos.

The new seats are very comfortable.

Things that need improving:

The video board by the visitor's section was messed up half of the game. Probably just a slight technical glitch that can be easily corrected.

Scoreboard placement is TERRIBLE. I started off sitting behind the home bench in section K and couldn't see the score without taking my eyes completely away from the floor. There is a small LED board directly across the court from the scorer's table that only flashes ads. They need to make it a scoreboard.

WTF was with the 80's aerobic music for the spirit squad?! It was hilariously bad.
 
I agree on every point 1016.

I would have to guess that the scoreboard issues are temporary, and will be addressed in Phase II. To me, the scoreboard across from the WYO bench is practically useless. It is tiny and impossible for at least 1/3rd of the AA to see.
 
A buddy of mine called me this morning, and told me how pissed off he is about the seating, as his seats have obstructed views (railing) that were not shown on the select-a-seat map. Ouch!
 
We are extremely happy with our seats. They are in the exact position as they always were and I think the Dome of Doom looks fantastic

I looked around last night to try an find a seat that would have a railing between line of sight and the court, and couldn't identify one. I obviously didn't sit in every seat.

It is noticeable that the court has been raised a bit, which I think helps improves views in general. I'm OK with my seats; sure I'd like to be closer, but the padding is comfortable. I'm still not used to the home bench being moved to the other side, and the team going the opposite directions each half than in the past. It will just take some time to get used to it.

Still some glitches to work out - Like the weird chirping audio buzz from the new speakers that kept happening on and off - almost makes me wish I didn't have great hearing. and of course the one video board not working all the time.
 
totally agree with most of these "gripes" but the floor looks totally better in person than a picture, the video board operator needs to get with it and not have the screen halved like it was last night. I like it "for the most part" it's just that I got accustomed to something for 25 years and now they go and change it up...it kinda feels like a barn atmosphere, I just hope that the fans noise level can be reveled as in the past. It's a good fit so far tho!!!
