Trying really hard not to be chicken little, but sheesh, it does seem that the evolution of college athletics is going in a direction that will make me much less interested, if at all interested. A detached "college" sports program simply "affiliated" with a University? Would people really cheer for that crap?
I get it from the athlete's perspective, but at the same time, if they change the product substantially, I might decide I don't like the product any longer.
