Coach C to Tennessee?!?!?!

Just kidding, I knew it would get some attention though.
But if we were 8-3 this season, with a chance of winning 10 games, do you think that Tennessee looks at coach Christensen as a head coach possibility?

He "would" have a 26-23 overall record with a chance to be 28-23 including 3 bowl appearances in 4 years with 2 wins
and in the last two years a 16-8 record with a chance to go 18-8. with 2 bowls in 2 years and 1 win

And do you think Coach C would take a job from Tennessee?
And would he do the unthinkable and talk Brett Smith into transferring and redshirting a year so brett could start for 2 years at Tennessee?

To me, unless you have a job waiting for you at Alabama or Florida or Texas, you should take a Tennessee job.

But back to reality, who do you think takes the Tennessee job for next year? Who are the big up and coming assistants in the BCS or the up and coming head coaches throughout the country?
Gary Anderson? Chris Petersen?

I don't think ANY of the pac-12 coaches are going to change unless CU dumps their coach, and if the Pac-12 finds some evidence towards leach at WSU.
I don't see any one in the SEC taking it, or the big10, or even the big12 for that matter.
Tulsa is 9-2 this year. and 27-10 in the last 3 years. That's might tempting.

We all know USU last year was like 5 plays from being undefeated or something like that.
And they are WAC champs this year. 9-2.

We know that Tennessee will pay a lot more than Utah State.

My bold prediction: Either the Tulsa coach gets hired, or Gary Anderson from USU gets hired.

Chris Peterson seems like the LaVell Edwards type, in that like Edwards stuck with YBU until he retired, Peterson will probably do the same with SPUDS.

Gary Anderson is a possibility, but he too may turn out like that, but too early to tell.

Absolutely not.


And do you think Coach C would take a job from Tennessee?
He would literally jump at EVERY single potential big 5 job and that is no secret. I think he looks as "howdy doody gate" more in respect to how it affects his career compared to how it affects Wyoming football in the future.

Brett has way too much character for that and I even doubt DC has that much pull over Brett Smith.
