Well the games didn't go to well but you have to consider, Northern Colorado had already played 13 games before this weekend while we haven't even been able to practice outside, in other words, no live pitching and no fly balls for the outfielders.

Also keep in mind these are basically pre-season and everyone got to play rather than having the normal starting 9 every game.

For the most part it just seems like the outfield needs work and we need to get used to live pitching again.

Have anyone within the club tried to get access to the IPF for practice purposes? If you were able to get in there would definitely be enough room for fly balls and with a portable mound you could do some live pitching as well. Maybe not as ideal as a real diamond, but better than nothing.

We have access to it on Mondays. Unfortunately we aren't supposed to do fly balls in there, too many things that we can break, the outfielders have gotten some work on soft liners and one hoppers but not real fly balls.

On Wednesday's we use the indoor place north of town where we have 2 portable mounds for pitcher's to throw and 3 cages to hit in. It is very small though.
