CJC tailgate moving indoors

God dammit! Thanks for killing attendance again, CJC. Looking forward to that crowd of 15,000 :tickedoff:

Why do they keep doing this?
Apparently they don't think people can handle a little bit of snow?

They are calling for all of maybe 3 inches of snow, for those of us who live here 3 inches of snow and we are out playing golf we just use and orange ball.

The team practices on the field CJC tailgate normally is. So by having thousands of people walk around on a wet, snowy practice field will, in effect, ruin it and make it impossible to practice on for the last 2 weeks of the year.

Aha, this actually makes good sense :)

This is ridiculous. We are Wyoming I think we can handle some bad weather to tailgate in. I would happily go to tailgate park while it's snowing. The team still has plenty of options to practice even if that field gets a little torn up.

+1 on the first part, +0 on the 2nd part.. as I don't know how many places they can practice.

IPF and the War. 2 options right there.

We don't play another game on natural grass this season. So I don't see any point on practicing on it

Not if we lose all three remaining games, but if we become Bowl Eligible, do we know if we MIGHT hit grass or not?

well....i will concede to this point

i guess they could also practice @ LHS

They split to do indy drills, usually the defense uses the tailgate park field at that time. When they are divided by position, there is not enough space in the War to accomodate all of them. Team stuff they do in the War. Coaches only want to use the IPF when absolutely necessary, for reasons we should already know.

Asking them to travel across town to practice on another natural grass field for a portion of practice just so we can wander around drunk and aimless for a couple hours doesn't make much sense. That may just be me.

Finding a new outdoor place to tailgate seems to be the better option.

Besides, telling a coach like DC so switch up his routine in the middle of a bowl run? C'mon.

At that point the TGP field would be in fine shape again. I'm on a roll today lol move over Tom Burman.

you got my vote :thumb:

Tailgate park is closed, but it's not like you can't tailgate. Hell, I don't know why it's even called tailgate park. It should be called beer park. I guess everyone will just have to hang out in the parking lots getting shit faced until the game starts.
