Christensen clamping down on practice

DCs reply on Twitter: Unlike some news outlets reported today, our fans are always welcome to our practices! See ya Saturday!

Coach C

I think it was a mis-quote. I think what was meant to be said, is that practices were closed to the general public last fall, but open to the general public this spring.

Makes sense...DC didn't want the public giving attention to the #5 kid wearing a diaper and holding his breathe in the corner of the IPF.

Now, let's see...a coach has a pretty good start at a school, but then struggles...doesn't like the criticism...locks down practices...Who was that? Oh, yeah! Gary Barnett! Wonder what he's doing these days?

I don't think it has anything to do with not liking the criticism. DC has a young team plain and simple and reporters are always looking for a story one way or another. Nothing sells paper like controversy and with a young team you never know what will be broadcast in the media.

Usually your QB is the spokesperson of the team and he has VERY YOUNG Qb's that he doesn't want distracted. Talking to the press and reading your own quotes can be a huge distraction, just ask #5. Good move, DC limiting practice. Time to circle the wagons, boys and work some $hit out!
