There's no sugar coating it. This is a bad year for you guys. You've got bad coaching and a lot of injuries. It isn't going to get better. On the positive side, your kids are playing their hearts out. And, it won't stay bad forever. Do you realize, this was the first time Utah State has beaten the Pokes in Laramie since 1962? Nineteen-freaking-sixty-two! Utah State Agricultural College had only transitioned to Utah State University five years before.
This is a bad year for a historically great program. You'll be back. So, put your arms around those kids, and give them all the support you can. You guys are still my second favorite program. Playing the Pokes regularly in all sports is one of the best things to happen in my Aggie lifetime. Chin up, guys. Cowboy-up!
