Cheyenne Warriors

Need a football fix to hold you over until college starts? Come out to watch me and the Warriors take on the Northern Colorado Wolfpack 7:00 this Saturday night at the Cheyenne events center!

It truly is an honor for me to play in my "home" state after all these years of playing all over the country. It's a special feeling to play in front of the hometown crowd. Many of you know former UW receiver Mazi Ogbonna is on the roster as well. So I think we will see some great things out of the offense... and of course I'm always good for 3

For those who cannot make it I have heard they will be streaming the games live as well.

Sweet. But will be getting ready for Easter Sunday. But if it's being streamed, I'll try and catch it. Good luck to you guys!

I'm pretty sure we won't be streaming the home games, but I'll double check tonight and let everyone know tomorrow. If you guys would like to get to know the team better I host a webcast every Thursday night at 7:00 pm mountain time where we interview the players and coaches. Just click the link below!

How do you get all the people in Cheyenne off meth so they can attend and pay attention?
The tweakers weed themselves out. Turns out most of them are worried about things other than football, food, sleep, etc...which is fine with us!

That's too bad about no live streaming of the games. I know my family back south would love to see the games. Hey WYO1016 are you also the announcer at the games? I'll be sure to finally introduce myself after practice now that I know who you are!

Sure am. I'm sure I'll see you tomorrow night at the walkthrough.

Between cornpoke kicking, wyo1016 as Announcer and myself as DJ we've got ourselves a practical WyoNation team. Come on out and check out the show!

Beer will be sold at the game. If you haven't seen an arena game in person you should really check it out. They're a hell of a lot of fun!

Made a Pepsi center game a few years back...the announcer was annoying as hell. Fun to watch though. Good call on the beer at the game!

I promise you that I am not nearly as annoying as the stadium announcer for the Crush was.

Had our first practice in the events center and boy is that ceiling low... I really have to adjust my height on kicks to the point I'm worried about every kick getting blocked. I wish Cheyenne had a better venue for indoor football. If casper can have one, no reason Cheyenne shouldn't

Tell that to the blue hairs that voted down building an events center in the Laramie County complex east of town this past election. How Cheyenne doesn't have a 5,000+ seat events center is beyond me.

What's the IFL about? I've been thinking about going. I've read the owner of the Warriors died - but apparantly they are going to play this season now?

It would really top it off if Aaron was out there delivering water to folks on the field. :thumb:

Well the thing is I most likely can't handle being that close to refs....

I'd never been to an IFL game until tonight. That was fun. However, do most games have that many penalties??? Wow..

It makes you realize how much spreading out the field in American Football keeps collisions from happening. That was some brutal play at times!

Heck of a job announcing WYO1016! Nice kicking Cornpoke!
