Cheering for Wyoming to lose

Apparently, a few people out there don't know the difference between "talking sh-t" and calling people out on their sh-t. As far as my verbal sparring with Beaver, well, okay, my verbal bitch-slaps of Beaver- it's not the first time I've been told I'm being pretty hard on the critter... I'm pretty sure I struck a nerve when I suggested he had an indication for some psycho-tropic meds.

K-Poke is someone who thinks enterprise (in whatever form) exists so people can have jobs, not in order to accomplish a greater goal. He can't find a reason anyone should be fired. Ever. He also thinks that when you have no retort and feel insulted, hitting is what will win the day. What he and Beaver don't get- unless you can utterly destroy somebody and everyone's memory of them, the moment you have to strike out because you've got no comeback- you've lost the war.

Too many shipwrecked people around here passing on the flotation devices drifting by whilst waiting for God to rescue them. His first question when they finally meet Him- "Didn't you see all the flotation devices I sent your way?"

I used to be a DC supporter BIG TIME.
Then I changed my mind as time went on, so if YOU actually read my posts you would know that.
People are allowed to change their minds, and that's what I did.

Regardless, I still want DC to be the coach that brings huge success to Wyo football.
Why? Because I want Wyoming to beat Boise, Hawaii, Utah State and a Pac12 team in a bowl game.
I don't think it will happen, and if we lose those games, I want DC to be fired.
That isn't contradicting myself.
If we win with DC I want DC to be here.
If we don't I want him gone.
Simple as that.

Considering what has transpired today, I think that it matters not whether you are cheering for Wyoming to win or lose, we are rapidly spiraling into college football purgatory. CDC and Burman are more than likely going to remain in place until their contracts run out (can't afford buyouts) and Wyoming will continue to eek out wins against most FCS opponents and the Idaho's of the college football world while getting blown out in the MWC. The BOT has bowed to the pressure that comes with change and we will maintain the status quo.....enjoy the optimism that comes with the beginning of each new season and be prepared to deal with the performance that has become the norm for DC coached teams......let's all let put the past behind and shed a few tears over a few beers and talk about what could have been.......too bad the younger posters will not have the opportunity to experience college football with Cowboy football teams that gave reason to cheer for!

At least I have some great memories from being a kid. Marcus Bailey in the AA, MWC titles.
Was at Wyo's last win over BYU in Laramie.
There's plenty more I'm sure. Or I've just made them up.
