Wyoming comes in at #8.

This is before the illinois state game, who was 12 on this list... SI did an updated power ranking after last night and they have us 28

The writer has clearly never seen a game from the pokes. Never seen Larry dunk? Seriously....he dunks every game. He had like 4-6 dunks last night alone...Not to mention the monster dunk he had last year against SDSU that was all over espn for weeks....I appreciate the attention the Pokes are getting but if you haven't actually watched the teams you cover maybe don't say such stupid comments

I actually replied to that part and posted the 2012 Dunk of the Year Nominee from Nanace guy sounds like a tool.

I read the entire article and I think this guy is a clown. He decides that the A-10 is a power conference now because VCU and Butler are now in the league, saying:
"At this point, the A-10 is positioning itself to be, minimally, a three-bid league. And any league that can be counted on for that many NCAA tournament berths must be considered a power."
Yet how many teams does the MWC annually put into the NCAA tournament each year?
This year it could be 5 or 6 teams if everything holds the way it is right now: UNLV, SDSU, UNM, WYO, CSU, and BSU
Last year it was 4
2010-11 it was 3
2009-10 it was 4
5 straight years of 2
3 straight years of 3 again
Slightly better than the A-10 in the same time frame although interesting to note that there were 2 years in that same time frame where the A-10 only put 1 team in the tournament.

The difference is that the Atlantic 10 has the name Atlantic in it so that guy notices it, while us mountain folk out here don't know how to play hoops.
That guy is an idiot.
