I remember that exact scenario in the 80's. It didn't work out too well for us. I'm hoping for good weather and a big crowd. If I remember correctly, I even remember seeing some SDSU players partying that night in the Squirrel Cage.

I too hope for good weather and field conditions when we play SDSU so if/when we beat them they don't have any excuses. It would also help with getting a big crowd to the War. I think we can take them straight up, but first we need to concentrate on Nevada.

One game at a time, but if the Pokes continue to improve and play well, that game in a couple of weeks against Boise could/should be huge. I agree about SDSU. I see no reason at this point to not think the Pokes can go toe-to-toe in Laramie with the Aztecs. DEs need to step up with Granderson gone.

Need to get past Nevada first, however. Big game for this program.

Seriously though, the Aztecs are pretty one-dimensional this season. They don't have the passing game of years past. Their defense is also pretty suspect. They struggle against more balanced offenses... like ours.
